This article analyzes the pedagogical foundations of the development of legal culture of students in higher educational institutions from a scientific, theoretical and practical point of view. The study highlights the content and essence of legal culture, its role in the comprehensive development of the student's personality, and pedagogical factors that serve to form legal consciousness and legal thinking in the modern education system. It also reveals the importance of introducing innovative pedagogical technologies into the educational process, a competency-based approach, interactive teaching methods, and spiritual and educational activities in the development of legal culture. The article develops scientific and practical recommendations aimed at increasing the effectiveness of developing legal culture of students in higher educational institutions.
