This article examines the phenomenon of “mosque diplomacy” through the lens of historical, cultural, and political processes – from the early Islamic period to modern Uzbekistan. Mosques are analyzed not only as places of worship but also as centers for disseminating information, establishing diplomatic relations, providing education, and fostering social cohesion. The study highlights the geopolitical goals of “soft power” policies implemented through the construction and restoration of mosques in Central Asia. Using the example of the restoration of the Langar Ota Mosque with U.S. support, the article demonstrates how cultural heritage sites can strengthen international cooperation, mutual trust, and intercultural dialogue.

The development of Russian-Chinese intercultural relations is an important component of neighborly relations, friendship and cooperation oriented toward the 21st century and a primary aspect of the comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction between the two countries. At present, Russian-Chinese intercultural exchanges have achieved initial success and show broad prospects for development. In order to further expand exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia in the humanitarian and social spheres and promote the stable and healthy development of Russian-Chinese relations, we must make greater efforts.

Drawing upon contemporary sociological and philosophical perspectives, the study emphasizes the paradoxical nature of cultural change in digital environments—offering unprecedented opportunities for self-expression and diversity, yet simultaneously undermining authentic cultural continuity. The paper calls for a critical reassessment of ethical engagement, digital literacy, and cultural preservation strategies in response to these shifting paradigms.

This article discusses the importance of modern pedagogical methodology in teaching foreign languages today, and the need to learn foreign languages in educational institutions around the world and in our country, as well as in non-governmental educational institutions. Due to the current need to learn foreign languages, fundamental, linguo-sociocultural, and communicative methods of teaching a foreign language using modern technologies and new methodologies are comparatively analyzed, their role and importance in the educational process are shown and highlighted from scientific literature. This article analyzes the main features of postmodern society, including its emergence, the nature of changes, as well as the social, economic, cultural and political aspects of these changes. Attention is paid to the following main characteristics of postmodern society: information society, individualism, diversity, fragmentation, acceptance of the relativity of reality, rejection of traditional systems and devices. Comments are also given on the impact of these changes on modern society and their future prospects.
