THE CONCEPT OF WORLDVIEW AND ITS PHILOSOPHICAL-LINGUISTIC SIGNIFICANCE

This article provides a comprehensive philosophical, social, and linguistic analysis of the concept of worldview. It explores the essence, structural components, and primary types of worldview—specifically religious, scientific, and philosophical—while highlighting their distinctive characteristics. Furthermore, the study examines the "linguistic picture of the world" within the context of foreign language acquisition, using the English language as a primary case study to substantiate the role of worldview in personal development. The research also analyzes contemporary societal challenges associated with these worldview types and proposes strategic recommendations for their resolution.
